Expression of Interest (EoI)

Developing an Info-kit for MSMEs in India Project Management Division (PMD), SIDBI is implementing agency for the Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) financing and Development Project supported by Department for International Development (DFID) UK, the World Bank, GTZ and KfW. Among other initiatives, the project envisages to build the institutional capacity of banks and other partner financial intermediaries including SIDBI to lend profitability of MSMEs.

The project has taken various initiatives to assist the MSMEs in its policy advocacy. These include sponsoring workshops/ studies on Insolvency and bankruptcy, Risk Capital and Corporatisation etc. It has launched MSME Advocacy Challenge Fund to stimulate the demand side of Policy Advocacy.Other measures include publication of policy papers such as Corporatisation, Risk Capital and support to pertinent thematic workshops/seminars/ conferences. The project has felt a need to develop an Info-kit for MSMEs in India.
